IC Certification
IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada, as a government agency, responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products into the Canadian market. It is responsible for products broadly divided into: radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, engineering medical equipment, etc..
Similar to the U.S. FCC, IC currently only in the electromagnetic interference to do restrictions.
Certification methods.
Self-verification, Certification certification can be used in two ways.
IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits) + UPN (Unique Product Number, up to 8 digits).
ID application instructions.
1、Must have Canadian representative address information.
2. The label must contain the following information (manufacturer's name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).
IC certification of the relevant standards.
IC certification standards and the FCC is basically the same, IC currently only in the electromagnetic interference restrictions.
ICES-001 analog devices: Industrial, Scientific and Medical Radio Frequency Generators.
ICES-003 Digital Terminal Equipment: Interference-Causing Equipment Standards-Digital Apparatus, such as ICES003: ITE: products and computer peripheral office equipment, etc.
IC RSS Series transmitting and receiving equipment low power wireless RF products. Such as:RSS 210, applicable products: wireless mouse and keyboard, wireless remote control toys and a variety of low-power wireless radio frequency products, CS03 (telecommunications terminal products PSTN).
